Dear Jared, One lie that is often told about college is that it is harder than high school. College is not harder, it is just more. It is more information and more responsibility. The classes are not harder, they just shift the burden of learning more onto you. Another lie is that college courses are more useful than high school classes. This is true in some cases, but there are some dumb courses that should never be taken by anyone. A third lie is that living on campus is a 24/7 party. This is not true. Campus life can get pretty boring, especially with COVID. Most of these lies are told to draw potential students to college. These lies are not good because it can set people on bad paths like getting a useless degree and being in debt. With care, Evan G.

I would say that my biggest regret is when I stopped lifting. My regret can fall into the "not" pattern depending on how you look at it. I used to go to my friends house and we would lift weights together. Along the way, stuff started popping up and it fell to the back of our minds. I wish I had kept going, not just because I want to be in better shape, but because now I wish I had the extra time hanging out with him. We don't get to hang out anymore because last year he and his family moved to Texas and now he is in the Air Force. I can not really turn this regret around because there is not an opportunity to really get that back. Regrets relates to truth because in order to regret something, you have to recognize the truth that you made the wrong decision.

There were once three little pigs and one big bad wolf. The three pigs all built their own homes. The big bad wolf decided that he wanted to have some fun. The wolf came to the first pig's house. This house was made of straw. The wolf huffed, and puffed and blew the house down. The pig's squeals could be heard for miles. Not satisfied, the wolf went to the second pig's house. This house was made of sticks. Again the wolf huffed and puffed, and the second pig squealed even louder. Still not satisfied the wolf went to the third house. This house was made of brick. There was no way the wolf could blow down this house. However, the third pig knew this and grew arrogant. The third pig had installed a window to watch the wolf struggle. Again the wolf huffed and puffed. This time no squeal was heard.

My life changing reveal of a lie I have been told dates back to my childhood. It was actually only yesterday that I found out it was a lie. Yesterday during our GIS lab, Dr. Brown informed me that pterodactyls are not dinosaurs. For that matter, all of the aquatic dinosaurs are not dinosaurs either.  I was shocked, how could Jurassic Park would lie to me like that. I am not sure that I will be able to watch it the same way again.
